About DFMC

Delmarva Foundation for Medical Care (DFMC) is an innovative leader in healthcare quality and safety. We work with providers along the continuum of care, connecting them with local organizations, patients and their families, and other stakeholders. DFMC transcends organizational, cultural, and geographic boundaries to spread best healthcare practices and facilitate rapid, large-scale change. We also educate consumers about their rights and what can be done to ensure they receive the right care, at the right time, every time.

Our physicians, nurses, pharmacists, data analysts, and other quality improvement professionals are change agents who facilitate improvement for people and communities. We provide practical tools and resources, through one-on-one consultations in hospitals, nursing homes, providers' offices, and community-based learning and action networks.
